Stephen Curry went through a full practice on Monday and will play in Wednesday’s regular-season opener against the Lakers in Los Angeles, head coach Steve Kerr told reporters, according to Dalton Johnson.
Curry exited Sunday’s open practice after slipping during a scrimmage and limped off the court, sparking concern of a knee injury. Kerr clarified afterward that the injury was an ankle tweak and said he expected Curry to be fine.
Monday’s full practice session and Kerr’s confirmation remove any remaining doubt about the 38-year-old’s availability for opening night, welcome news for a Warriors team already without Jimmy Butler, Moses Moody and Kristaps Porzingis.
