Minnesota Timberwolves fans will have 15 games available free over the air on KARE 11 during the 2026–27 season, the team announced October 2. Those same broadcasts will be free through DAZN’s app and website for viewers in the team’s local broadcast territory.
Every game in this table is scheduled for both KARE 11 and DAZN. Home and away refer to Minnesota. Central Time follows America/Chicago; Eastern follows America/New_York, including daylight-saving changes. These are scheduled tipoff times, subject to change.

The selection includes nine home games and six away games. Two afternoon starts stand out: Denver on December 31 and Utah on February 7. For the wider season, see the Timberwolves schedule.
On television: Tune to KARE 11 for the dates above. Over-the-air viewing means receiving the local television signal with an antenna; reception depends on your location and setup. It does not require a DAZN subscription. The team estimates that the KARE 11 broadcasts can reach 1.5 million homes across the region.
The same 15-game package will also air in four more markets:
The Minnesota channels are the primary outlets for those markets. Some games will also appear on main network affiliates. Check local listings for each game’s channel; antenna reception still depends on location and equipment.
By streaming: Streaming requires a DAZN account; viewers in the eligible territory can watch these 15 selected games with a free account. Use the DAZN app or website and find the Timberwolves game on the scheduled date. The announced free package is for local fans; DAZN being available in your country does not by itself give you access to Minnesota’s local broadcasts. Check your location’s eligibility before choosing a paid plan.
The Timberwolves’ local broadcast territory covers Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota in full, plus parts of Kansas and Wisconsin. Partial coverage matters: living somewhere in Kansas or Wisconsin is not a guarantee of eligibility.
KARE 11’s over-the-air reception area and DAZN’s streaming territory are different ways of determining access. A viewer outside KARE 11’s antenna range may still be in DAZN’s eligible territory; the seven-state description should not be read as a promise of KARE 11 antenna reception throughout those states.
The September 10 launch prices were $19.99 monthly or $119.99 per season for the standard plan. Check current terms before subscribing.
KARE 11 will carry DAZN’s game production. The announced on-air group includes Kevin Calabro, Jon “Boog” Sciambi, Michael Grady, Alan Horton, Jim Petersen, Meghan McPeak, Marney Gellner, Rebekkah Brunson and Parker Fox. The announcement does not assign a particular commentary pairing to each game.
The partners also plan interviews and appearances involving players, coaches and team executives, alongside KARE 11’s “Timberwolves Extra” and pregame and postgame programming.
830 WCCO will carry every Timberwolves regular-season game in 2026–27 as the team’s flagship radio station.
The radio schedule also includes all six preseason games, beginning October 5 at Milwaukee. Alan Horton returns for his 20th season, with Cal Soderquist handling the 30-minute pregame and postgame shows.
To listen on the radio, tune to 830 AM in the Minneapolis area. Online, use the 830 WCCO station page or find 830 WCCO in the Audacy app. The announcements do not spell out location-based restrictions for each game stream, so do not assume every online game broadcast is available in every territory.
This extends the Timberwolves–KARE 11 partnership into its third consecutive season. For fans, the practical benefit is a set of dates they can plan around without buying the local streaming package. It remains a selected schedule, so check the broadcaster for games outside this list rather than assuming the same access applies all season.
