Milwaukee led by as many as eight in the third quarter, 74-66, before Davis went to work. He scored on drives, fadeaways and trips to the line, but the Bucks kept answering from deep: AJ Green hit a three, and Brayden Burries made two in the final 62 seconds of the quarter for a 93-90 lead going into the fourth.

Justin Champagnie hit a three, Young scored on a floater, and Deandre Ayton’s dunk put Washington ahead 97-96.
