Denver and the Clippers are trading highlights at Intuit Dome in preseason. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are already running the two-man game, Aaron Gordon threw down an early slam, and Los Angeles answered with an alley-oop plus Gradey Dick finishing in the half court. The game was still in the second quarter when these clips landed — here are six worth watching while the night continues.

Murray to Jokic, Jokic back to Murray

The league feed caught Denver’s signature action: Murray feeding Jokic, then Jokic finding Murray again. Early in the second quarter Murray had nine points on 4-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, and Jokic already had four assists. That two-man game is the foundation of everything Denver wants to run.

Aaron Gordon opens with a slam

Gordon finished the early dunk that set the tone for Denver’s starters. He had five points and five rebounds in limited first-half minutes, including four offensive boards. When Gordon plays above the rim, Denver’s half-court offense suddenly has another finishing option next to Jokic.

That’s how you give and go

Denver’s give-and-go clip shows the same chemistry without needing a set call. Murray, Jokic and Gordon have run this action for years, and the Clippers’ early defense had to chase both the ball and the cutter. Small possessions like this stack up when Denver is rolling.

Garland and Isaiah Jackson connect for the lob

Darius Garland found Isaiah Jackson for an alley-oop as the Clippers tried to answer Denver’s early punch. Jackson had five points in the first half stretch, and Garland’s vision is one reason Los Angeles brought him in. Lobs like this keep Intuit Dome loud even in October.

Gradey Dick sinks the midrange

Dick was perfect from the field early — 2-of-2 with four points and two assists in about seven minutes. The midrange pull-up is a useful counter when the three-point shot is contested, and the Clippers need that kind of shot-making off the bench.

Dick saves it, Baba Miller finishes

Dick kept a loose ball alive and Baba Miller took it to the rack. Miller had two points and four rebounds in the first half stretch while playing physical minutes. Hustle plays like that are how a young Clippers group stays within a possession of Denver.
