Westbrook No. 0 night, Feb. 7: Knicks at Thunder tips at 4:30 a.m. Cairo time, and resale prices have nearly tripled

Nov. 4, 2026 — Russell Westbrook’s No. 0 now has a date and a game: Sunday, Feb. 7, 2027, when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the New York Knicks at Paycom Center. Resale prices for the night jumped within hours of the announcement, and the club says the ceremony details are still to come. Here is what is confirmed, what is not, and what time to set the alarm in Cairo.

What is confirmed

The Thunder announced on Monday, Nov. 2, that they will retire Westbrook’s No. 0 on Feb. 7 against the Knicks, the defending champions. Westbrook announced his retirement in August after 18 NBA seasons, 11 of them in Oklahoma City, and No. 0 will be the second number the franchise has retired. The announcement itself, including Sam Presti’s remarks at the Day One Luncheon, is in our earlier report.

The game, Knicks at Thunder, is listed for 9:30 p.m. ET, which is 8:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City and 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, in Cairo. The Thunder announced the date in the post below.

Resale prices nearly tripled

A ticket-price tracker post on X on Nov. 2 showed the cheapest resale ticket for the game rising from $95 to $260 after the announcement, which would make it the most expensive Thunder home game of the season on that marketplace. Resale prices move daily and are set by sellers, so treat any single figure as a snapshot. Face-value seats for the Thunder’s home schedule are sold through the team’s single-game ticket page, which lists the Knicks game. Our Thunder game-nights guide has the rest of the home calendar.

The team has not said whether the ceremony will come before tip-off or at halftime, and it has not announced a giveaway, a guest list or an earlier arrival time. If you are buying, decide what a seat for the night is worth to you before the market moves again, and check the ticket page for any new release.

Why this one will be loud

Westbrook retired as the franchise leader in games played (821), points (18,859), rebounds (5,760), assists (6,897), steals (1,442), field goals made (6,626) and minutes (28,329), according to the league’s release. He won the 2016-17 MVP award averaging 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists, with an NBA-record 42 triple-doubles that season, and finished his career with a record 209 triple-doubles.

The Thunder reached the 2012 NBA Finals and the playoffs nine times with him over 11 seasons, and he was an All-Star eight times as a Thunder player. The night also pairs two of the league’s best teams: the Knicks arrive as the reigning champions.

Watching from Cairo

The listed tip is 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, Cairo time. Egypt is on winter time in February, so Cairo is seven hours ahead of the East Coast and eight ahead of Oklahoma City on that date. If the Thunder hold the ceremony before the game, it will start earlier than 4:30 a.m., and we will update this page when the club releases the schedule. The Knicks’s game page on the league site lists the game on Peacock, though national TV details can change.

What comes next

The rest of that week is in our guide to Feb. 2-8, and the 2026-27 key dates list the Feb. 11 trade deadline. All-Star week in Phoenix begins nine days after Westbrook’s night, and the full schedule with Cairo times is in our All-Star week guide.
