Paolo Banchero scored 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting and Franz Wagner added 20 points and eight assists as the Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-116 at Kia Center on Tuesday night, answering a 119-105 loss in Cleveland two days earlier.

Jalen Suggs returned after missing Sunday’s game with an illness, scoring nine points in 13 minutes on 3-of-4 shooting. Tristan da Silva added 18 points with four three-pointers, and Goga Bitadze had 14 on 5-of-7 shooting.

Orlando led 35-28 after the first quarter and outscored Cleveland 37-24 in the second, using an 11-0 run to open a 72-52 halftime lead. The Magic entered the fourth quarter up 108-83 and were not threatened.

Orlando finished with 34 assists to Cleveland’s 21 and outrebounded the Cavaliers 54-38, shooting 51.5 percent from the field to Cleveland’s 45.1 percent.

It was the Magic’s first home preseason game under new head coach Sean Sweeney, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
