The Milwaukee Bucks launched Bucks+ on Thursday, giving eligible local fans a paid streaming option for the 2026-27 season while keeping their free over-the-air game broadcasts.

The service costs $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the season. Its first telecast is scheduled for Monday, October 5, when Milwaukee hosts Minnesota at Fiserv Forum at 7 p.m. Central, or 8 p.m. Eastern.

What the subscription covers

Bucks+ carries Milwaukee’s locally televised games live and on demand. Nationally exclusive games are outside that package, so subscribing does not put every Bucks game in one place.

Access is limited to the Bucks’ local distribution area. Use the official Bucks+ ZIP-code eligibility checker before choosing a plan. Out-of-market fans have separate Team Pass and League Pass options, with their own availability restrictions.

Streams run through the NBA app and its supported devices, as well as the website. Full replays and condensed, 10-minute versions offer alternatives for fans who miss a live game.

The free antenna option remains

The same local games will also air without a streaming subscription on MY24 in Milwaukee. The announced affiliate lineup includes WBAY 2.3 in Green Bay, WISC 3.2 in Madison, WKBT 8.2 in La Crosse-Eau Claire and WJFW 12.2 in Wausau-Rhinelander. The Duluth-Superior outlet has not yet been announced.

For a household that can receive one of those stations, Bucks+ mainly adds the convenience of internet viewing and replays. It is not a requirement for watching the local telecasts by antenna.

How the two prices compare

Five monthly payments total $99.95, just four cents less than the advertised season price. Six monthly payments total $119.94. That makes the season option cheaper than paying for six months, while a shorter viewing window may favor monthly access.

That comparison uses the advertised prices only. Viewers should review checkout terms, any applicable taxes, renewal conditions and ZIP-code eligibility before subscribing. The key distinction is between local-game coverage and national exclusives, rather than simply between television and streaming.
