Game state source: whynba · Retrieved Oct 9, 2:29 am EDTEight Grizzlies free broadcasts are confirmed, with seven more to come. Check the ABC24 and DAZN dates, viewing limits and how free access differs from paid plans.

The Memphis Grizzlies will make 15 games available free on ABC24 and DAZN during the 2026-27 regular season, expanding their local television package.
The October 2 announcement names WATN/ABC24 as the Memphis broadcast outlet. The same selected games will stream free through the DAZN app. The team calls this its largest local over-the-air slate since moving to Memphis in 2001.
Updated October 2, 2026: This guide now separates the eight announced dates from the seven still pending, explains free streaming access and compares the free package with paid coverage.
Eight dates have been announced, beginning October 23 at Golden State. The table below is the confirmed portion of the 15-game package, not the entire season schedule. Every listed game will be on ABC24 and free on DAZN within the applicable local broadcast footprint.
| Date | Opponent | Time (Central) | Time (Eastern) |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 23 | at Golden State Warriors | 9 p.m. | 10 p.m. |
| November 2 | New Orleans Pelicans | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. |
| November 11 | Denver Nuggets | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. |
| November 16 | at Washington Wizards | 6 p.m. | 7 p.m. |
| November 25 | LA Clippers | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. |
| December 12 | Milwaukee Bucks | 4 p.m. | 5 p.m. |
| December 16 | Miami Heat | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. |
| December 23 | Toronto Raptors | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. |
Games without “at” are Memphis home games. Central and Eastern times follow the local clocks, including the November change from daylight saving time. For the rest of the team’s fixtures, see the Grizzlies schedule.
There are two routes for these selected games: ABC24’s over-the-air broadcast in its Memphis coverage area, or the DAZN stream. DAZN’s free games require a free account.
Over-the-air access means receiving the local station’s signal with suitable television equipment; it does not turn every ABC affiliate nationwide into a Grizzlies broadcaster. Likewise, the free streaming offer is a local-rights package, not a promise of worldwide access.
TEGNA plans to add stations across the Grizzlies’ extended territory in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and Kentucky. As of October 2, the announcement does not name those additional outlets or confirm their individual coverage areas. Fans outside Memphis should wait for their local station assignment rather than assume ABC24 reaches them.
Seven further game selections also remain unannounced. Neither a date on Memphis’ general schedule nor a DAZN listing alone establishes that a game belongs to this free 15-game package.
No. The selected 15 games are the free offer. For the broader local streaming package, the standard plans are $19.99 per month or $119.99 for the season. Nationally exclusive games have separate viewing arrangements; a local subscription should not be read as a guarantee of every game.
That distinction matters when deciding whether to subscribe: someone who wants only the announced free dates does not need to buy the season package just for those games. Fans who follow Memphis outside its local footprint instead need to check NBA League Pass availability and applicable broadcast restrictions.
ABC24 becomes a new local television partner, while the DAZN agreement supplies the streaming route. The familiar broadcast team of Pete Pranica, Brevin Knight and Rob Fischer remains in place. For fans, the immediate practical gain is another way to watch selected games without committing to the full paid package; the remaining dates and regional station list will determine how useful that option is outside Memphis.
