Wembanyama had the first 50-point, 20-rebound, 5-block game since 1974 in a 112-111 win over Dallas. The first half, three blocks in 13 seconds, the comeback, the last free throw and the eight games before it.

Video still posted by the NBA on X, resized.Victor Wembanyama scored a career-high 52 points and grabbed a career-high 24 rebounds, with eight blocks, as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-111 on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Frost Bank Center. He played 34 minutes.
He is the first player with at least 50 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks in a game since Bob McAdoo in 1974, and his eight blocks are the most in a 50-point game since blocks became an official statistic in 1973-74. No player has had more points, rebounds or blocks in a game this season.
The Spurs, who have now won six straight, are 6-2.

Fifteen of the points came at the free-throw line, where he made all 15 attempts, tying James Harden in 2019 for the most free throws without a miss in a first half since the 1997-98 season.
No player had ever recorded at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in a single half. The 29 points are the second most in a half in his career, behind a 37-point first half against the Lakers in February.
San Antonio led 68-51 at the break after closing the half on a 19-3 run, and by as many as 19 points in the third quarter.

Wembanyama scored 10 of his points in the closing stretch after returning from the ankle. He said afterward he was “feeling fine.”

It also made Wembanyama the fifth player with multiple 50-point games at age 22 or younger, after his 50 against Washington in November 2024.
It is also the first 50-point, 20-rebound game in San Antonio Spurs history. His 52 points are tied for the eighth most in a regular-season game by a Spur, behind David Robinson’s franchise-record 71 in 1994.
