The Jazz have waived center Jonas Aidoo and guard Tamar Bates while converting Harrison Ingram’s Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal, the team announced Friday. Aidoo had been on a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, while Bates held a two-way slot; Ingram fills the newly opened spot, according to Keith Smith.

Utah now carries 14 players on standard contracts, 13 with fully guaranteed salaries, plus three on two-way deals. The roster is set for the regular season, though last-minute tweaks remain possible ahead of Monday’s deadline.

Ingram, the 48th overall pick in the 2024 draft, spent his first two professional seasons on two-way contracts with the Spurs but barely played at the NBA level, logging 61 total minutes in 12 regular season games. He saw far more action in the G League, averaging 16.6 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 34.0 minutes per game across 40 appearances for Austin last season. The 23-year-old impressed the Jazz this preseason, totaling 19 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes across four games to earn the promotion.

Bates signed a two-year, two-way contract with Utah in July but struggled in three preseason games, scoring three points on 1-of-8 shooting in 34 minutes. Aidoo appears ticketed for the Salt Lake City Stars after Utah’s affiliate acquired his returning rights in an August trade; he will earn a $91K bonus if he spends at least 60 days in the G League.
