The Spurs have exercised their fourth-year option on Stephon Castle and third-year options on Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant, the team announced Friday. The moves were a formality, with each player already under contract for this season, and lock in guaranteed salaries for 2027/28: about $12.7 million for Castle, $13.6 million for Harper and $5.4 million for Bryant, according to Jared Weiss.

Castle, the fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft, won Rookie of the Year in 2024/25 and improved his numbers in virtually every major statistical category in his second season. The 6’6″ guard will be eligible for a rookie scale extension next offseason, with a potential new deal beginning in 2028/29.

Harper, selected second overall in the 2025 draft, earned a spot on the All-Rookie first team and will open his second season in the starting lineup alongside Castle, De’Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell and Victor Wembanyama.

Bryant, the 14th and final lottery pick in 2025, averaged 11.5 minutes per game across 71 regular season appearances off the bench as a rookie, with the club expecting the high-flying forward to take a step forward in his second season.
