SACRAMENTO — Oct. 13, 2026 — The Sacramento Kings have signed free-agent wings Aaron Nkrumah and Damari Monsanto to Exhibit 10 contracts, filling out a 21-man preseason roster as camp cuts near and the G League pipeline stays active.

Nkrumah arrives after OVC standout year

Nkrumah went undrafted out of Tennessee State after earning Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors as a senior. The 6-foot-6 swingman averaged a conference-high 17.7 points and 2.8 steals, plus 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists, across 33 games (31.4 minutes). He spent two seasons with the Tigers after starting his college career outside Division I.

Post-draft chatter had linked Nkrumah to an Exhibit 10 deal with Denver. That path either fell through or was reported incorrectly; he is now in Sacramento’s camp instead, giving the Kings another athletic wing to evaluate before opening night.

Monsanto brings G League shooting pedigree

Monsanto, undrafted in 2025 out of UTSA after earlier stops at East Tennessee State and Wake Forest, spent last season in the G League. He appeared in 45 games for three clubs, including 40 with Capital City, averaging 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 16.2 minutes on .440/.428/.833 shooting. In college he hit 39.5% of 6.7 threes per game.

The Stockton Kings acquired his G League returning rights from Capital City last month, aligning the signing with Sacramento’s affiliate depth. Exhibit 10 deals often funnel players to the G League with conversion bonuses — reportedly up to about $91,000 if a player spends at least 60 days in the developmental league — and both newcomers look like candidates for Stockton minutes if they do not crack the NBA roster.

Roster picture

With these additions, Sacramento’s preseason group sits at a full complement of 21. Camp deals of this type rarely rewrite a rotation overnight, but they keep evaluation options open and give the affiliate ready bodies as the regular season approaches.
