The Toronto Raptors have converted center Nate Bittle from his Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal and waived their five other camp invitees, reporter Blake Murphy reported Saturday.

The players waived are Tyreke Key, Nimari Burnett, Tyson Degenhart, Jamarion Sharp and Jalen Celestine. All five had been on Exhibit 10 contracts and are likely to report to the Raptors 905, Toronto’s G League affiliate.

Bittle, a seven-foot center, spent five seasons at Oregon and started nearly every game over his final four years. He averaged 16.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks per game in 2025-26 and made the Big Ten’s All-Defensive team in 2024-25.

After signing with Toronto as an undrafted free agent, Bittle impressed at Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 2.2 assists in four games while shooting 50 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from three. A foot injury has kept him out during the preseason.

Toronto recently waived two-way players Chucky Hepburn and Trey Jemison III, opening a pair of two-way spots alongside guard Malachi Smith. Bittle takes one of them, and according to Murphy the other will be left open for now. The Raptors could use it on a player waived by another team during Saturday’s league-wide roster cuts, claiming him off waivers Monday and converting him to a two-way deal before the regular season begins.
