Only two games on Thursday, and both delivered. Philadelphia came back from 29 points down to beat Cleveland in LeBron James’ home debut, and in Oklahoma City the Thunder beat Denver on the night Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 141-game streak of 20-point games finally ended. Here are the official clips worth your time, each with a quick note on what you are watching.

Cavaliers at 76ers, the full highlights

The whole comeback in one place. Cleveland led 69-40 late in the first half, Philadelphia outscored it 69-37 after the break, and the 76ers won their home opener 114-106. The NBA called it the largest comeback in franchise history and the 10th-largest in the league in the play-by-play era. Video: NBA on YouTube.

Allen Iverson courtside

Before any of it happened, the building got a look at a familiar face. Iverson was in his seat for the first home game of the LeBron James era in Philadelphia. Video: @NBA on X.

Donovan Mitchell’s opening act

The handle, the 28-foot step-back at the first-quarter buzzer that made it 35-18, and the celebration. Mitchell had 22 points by halftime and finished with 32 and 10 rebounds, but only two of those points came in the fourth quarter. Video: @NBA on X.

The run that changed the night

Philadelphia scored the first 11 points of the third quarter and kept going. This is the stretch where Tyrese Maxey, already at 20 points, cut a 29-point deficit to seven. Video: @NBA on X.

Joel Embiid and the first lead

The 76ers did not lead for the first 41 minutes. Embiid’s 16-foot jumper made it 96-95 with 6:54 left, the only lead change of the game. He scored 24, nine of them in the fourth quarter. Video: @NBA on X.

Jaylen Brown, bucket and celebration

Brown scored 10 of his 21 in the fourth, a fadeaway, a driving layup and a pull-up among them, and the crowd enjoyed this one as much as he did. Video: @NBA on X.

Tyrese Maxey’s 32

Every key moment from the best player on the floor. Maxey played 42 minutes, went 12-of-23 for 32 points, added 6 assists and 2 steals, and finished plus-19. Video: @NBA on X.

LeBron James’ first night at home

A full-game reel of James in his Philadelphia home debut: 17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals, with 10 of the points in the third quarter. The league noted it was the largest comeback of his 24-season career. Video: @NBA on X.

LeBron after the win

James afterwards, on what the comeback meant to him in his first game in front of the home crowd: “It was everything that I dreamed of and more.” Video: @NBA on X.

Nuggets at Thunder, the full highlights

The late game was a grind. Oklahoma City beat Denver 96-84 in its home opener, forcing 22 turnovers, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s record run of 141 straight 20-point games ended at 17. Video: NBA on YouTube.

Nikola Jokic’s first three of the season

Enjoy it, because it was his only one. Jokic was held to 13 points on 5-of-19 shooting and 1-of-7 from deep in Denver’s opener. Video: @nuggets on X.

Aaron Gordon finishes

Gordon was Denver’s best player, with a team-high 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting, and this was the pick of his finishes. Video: @nuggets on X.

Chet Holmgren blocks it, Jalen Williams throws it down

The two-way sequence that swung the third quarter. Holmgren had 12 points, 17 rebounds and a game-high 4 blocks, and Williams led the Thunder with 21 points. Video: @NBA on X.

Jalen Williams rolls

The oddest moment of the night. Williams went into a roll across the floor in the middle of play, and said afterwards that he was dizzy and would never do it again. Video: @NBA on X.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s second half

Gilgeous-Alexander missed all seven of his first-half shots and had two points at the break. He scored 15 after halftime, including 10 in the fourth, and asked to come out with 1:43 left and the Thunder up 17, three points short of 20. Video: @NBA on X.

Ajay Mitchell’s hands

The Thunder’s own cut of a career-high five steals. Mitchell’s layup also gave Oklahoma City its first lead since 3-0, at 64-62 in the third quarter. Video: @okcthunder on X.
