Watch: Jalen Duren drops 24 in 15 minutes as the Pistons roll the Timberwolves

Detroit left Target Center with a 128-106 preseason win on Wednesday, and the clip package that dropped overnight makes the gap look even clearer. Jalen Duren needed only 15 minutes to score 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting and 8-of-8 from the line, and the league’s full-game reel runs through how the Pistons took control after a slow first quarter.

The first video is almost entirely Duren at the rim and on the stripe. He finished with three rebounds, two steals and a block in that short stretch, while Cade Cunningham added 14 points and nine assists in 25 minutes. Duncan Robinson spaced the floor with 15 points on 4-of-5 from three, and John Collins chipped in 11 in 20 minutes.

Full game: Pistons pull away

Minnesota led after one, 38-29, before Detroit flipped the game with a 36-20 second quarter and never looked back (32-24 in the third, 31-24 in the fourth). Anthony Edwards led the Wolves with 20 points on 5-of-15 shooting and went a perfect 9-of-9 at the line. Jonathan Kuminga added 16, Jaden McDaniels 12, and Joan Beringer posted 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench. LaMelo Ball dealt six assists in 18 minutes but finished with only three points.
