Wizards 2026-27 promotions: Trae Young and AJ Dybantsa bobbleheads, Cherry Blossom nights and 20 heritage jerseys at Capital One Arena

WASHINGTON — Oct. 15, 2026 — The Wizards have posted their 2026-27 promotions calendar for Capital One Arena, and it is built around the new faces: an “Ice” Trae Young bobblehead on Nov. 16, three different AJ Dybantsa bobbleheads, plus giveaways designed by Tre Johnson III and Will Riley.

In all, the team lists nine first-come giveaway nights, 10 specialty ticket packages, a 15-school College Series and a 20-night Heritage Series spread over 25 home dates, from the Oct. 21 opener against Milwaukee to the April 11 finale against Detroit. Home tips are 7 p.m. Eastern unless listed otherwise.

How the giveaways and ticket packages work

Giveaway items go to the stated number of fans when the gates open, one per ticketed guest, while supplies last. Specialty ticket packages are different: the item comes only with a ticket bought through that night’s special offer, one item per ticket. Every College Series night comes with a co-branded football jersey and every Heritage Series night with a special edition soccer jersey, both sold the same way.

The nine giveaway nights

The Home Opener presented by Capital One on Wednesday, Oct. 21 against the Bucks hands a rally towel to the first 15,000 fans. The first 10,000 fans on Monday, Nov. 16 against Memphis get the “Ice” Trae Young bobblehead, and the Saturday, Dec. 12 game against Charlotte brings a Tre Johnson III designed beanie for the first 10,000.

The Wizards debut their Cherry Blossom City Edition uniforms on Sunday, Jan. 17 against Indiana at 1 p.m., when the first 10,000 fans receive a Will Riley designed Cherry Blossom sweatshirt courtesy of Ticketmaster. Pioneer Night on Monday, Feb. 8 against Chicago honors the late Georgetown coach John Thompson Jr. with a commemorative gym towel for the first 10,000.

The cherry blossom theme carries through the spring: a sling bag courtesy of Capital One on Wednesday, Feb. 17 against Miami and a Sakura snow globe on Wednesday, March 24 against Denver, each for the first 10,000. Saturday, March 6 against Utah is the AJ Dybantsa Rookie Edition bobblehead night for the first 10,000, and the season finale on Sunday, April 11 against Detroit at 6 p.m. gives a Wizards T-shirt to the first 15,000.
