The Chicago Bulls made four cuts following the end of the preseason, waiving wings Brandon Boston Jr. and Drew Peterson, forward Jalen Bridges and center Orlando Robinson, the team announced Saturday.

All four have previous NBA regular season experience and each played in at least three preseason games this month. Robinson was the most productive of the group, averaging 6.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 11.5 minutes per game over three outings.

Chicago carries only 14 players on guaranteed standard contracts and faces no cap or tax crunch, so it could have kept any of the four as its 15th man. Instead, according to reporter K.C. Johnson, the plan is to keep the 15th spot open for roster flexibility. The Bulls’ three two-way players all had strong preseasons, so depth is not an immediate concern.

All four players could end up with the Windy City Bulls in the G League. Windy City made offseason trades for the returning rights to Peterson, Bridges and Robinson, and Boston can be designated as an affiliate player. Each would earn a $91,000 bonus by spending at least 60 days in the G League.
