The Atlanta Hawks waived guard Isaac McKneely on Tuesday, according to the October 13 transaction list. The move ends his current NBA training-camp stint.

An October 13 roster-moves report says the undrafted Louisville guard had signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Atlanta in September.

College Park is a reported possibility

The same report describes the College Park Skyhawks as McKneely’s likely next stop. That is a reported possibility, not confirmation that he has joined Atlanta’s G League affiliate.

The report also describes a possible Exhibit 10 bonus of up to $91,000 tied to a 60-day stay. The waiver alone does not establish that he has cleared waivers, met the bonus conditions or received a payment.

For now, the confirmed change is his departure from the Hawks’ NBA camp roster. A G League roster announcement would be a separate next step, and this move does not guarantee a future NBA role.
