LeBron James is off the report for Philadelphia's game against Chicago with Joel Embiid questionable, Derrick Jones Jr. hurt his right knee at Golden State, Jakob Poeltl was scratched with a sore shoulder, and Stephen Curry and Draymond Green return for the Warriors.

LeBron James is off the injury report for Philadelphia’s home game against Chicago on Monday night, two days after he sat out the 76ers’ win in Charlotte with his back. Joel Embiid, who also missed that game, is listed as questionable with what the team calls management of a right plantar fascia injury. Dominick Barlow (low back stress reaction) and Ariel Hukporti (right Achilles) are out.
Monday has 15 games, and Sunday night added two new problems in Los Angeles. Derrick Jones Jr. was ruled out for the rest of the Clippers’ 124-112 loss at Golden State with a right knee injury after playing 28 minutes, and Toronto scratched Jakob Poeltl shortly before tipoff at the Lakers with bursitis in his left shoulder. The Raptors and Clippers play each other at Intuit Dome on Monday, the second night of a back-to-back for both, and neither team had filed its list yet.
The statuses below come from the league’s report at 12:15 a.m. ET on Monday. Eight teams had not submitted their lists by then: Indiana, Brooklyn, Orlando, Boston, the Lakers, Golden State, Toronto and the Clippers. Cairo is seven hours ahead of New York, so the first game, Thunder at Cavaliers, tips at 7 p.m. ET (2 a.m. Tuesday in Cairo), and the last three start at 10 p.m. ET (5 a.m. Tuesday in Cairo).
Ohm Youngmisuk reported that Jones would not return in San Francisco, and the Clippers had no further update after the game. Los Angeles played Sunday without Bradley Beal, Brandon Ingram, Max Strus, Jordan Miller and Yanic Konan Niederhauser.
Poeltl’s scratch came late. Michael Grange noted that the center had been doing extra shoulder work on the side for a couple of weeks but went through his normal pregame routine on Sunday. Trayce Jackson-Davis started in his place and played nine minutes in the 131-125 loss, with Toronto already missing Kawhi Leonard and Nate Bittle.
Golden State won its fourth straight game without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, who rested on Sunday, as Yaxel Lendeborg scored 37. Anthony Slater reported that both will play against Phoenix on Monday. Gui Santos will not: he sat out the second half on Sunday with knee tendinitis, and Steve Kerr said the Warriors will rest him against the Suns and then re-evaluate him. Phoenix has ruled out Mark Williams after his left shoulder surgery.
Atlanta lists Jalen Johnson as questionable with the left ankle sprain he suffered in New Orleans on Saturday, and Jock Landale is out with a left hip strain. Our Hawks report has the details. The Hawks will also be without rookie Kingston Flemings, whom the league suspended for one game for intentionally elbowing Pelicans guard Bryce McGowens in the head. Mouhamed Gueye (left foot fracture) and Henri Veesaar (right ACL) are out.
Indiana has not filed yet. Obi Toppin was downgraded to out with low back soreness on Sunday and missed the 98-90 loss to Brooklyn, his second straight absence, and Ivica Zubac sat with a left ankle injury. Aaron Nesmith was cleared and started.
Rudy Gobert is not on Minnesota’s list for the home game against Milwaukee after missing Saturday’s loss in San Antonio with low back spasms. Anthony Edwards is still out after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, and Donte DiVincenzo is out with his right Achilles. In Houston, Fred VanVleet is off the report for the game against Boston, while Steven Adams (right soleus strain) is out and Clint Capela (right ankle sprain) and Reed Sheppard (low back strain) are questionable.
Memphis gets Ty Jerome back against New Orleans. Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo said Jerome and Quinten Post took part in a limited practice on Sunday. Post is questionable with a right ankle sprain, and Scotty Pippen Jr. is doubtful with low back soreness. The Pelicans are without Yves Missi (left knee bone bruise) and Jordan Poole (left ankle), while Trey Murphy III is probable.
Thunder at Cavaliers: Oklahoma City has ruled out Alex Caruso with a right ankle sprain, along with Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, Thomas Sorber and Nikola Topić. Cleveland is without Jaylon Tyson (right ankle sprain) and Nae’Qwan Tomlin (low back stress reaction), and Peyton Watson is questionable with right hamstring tightness.
Bulls at 76ers: Chicago lists Nic Claxton as doubtful with a left hamstring strain. Tobe Awaka and Jalen Smith are probable.
Nets at Knicks: New York upgraded Jose Alvarado from out to questionable with his left ankle sprain. Brooklyn has not filed.
Pistons at Hornets: Jalen Duren is still out for Detroit with a right hamstring strain, and Isaiah Joe is questionable with a right hip contusion. Charlotte has ruled out Kon Knueppel and Grant Williams, both with hamstring strains.
Wizards at Magic: Alex Sarr is questionable with left knee soreness and Anthony Gill with low back spasms. Justin Champagnie, Tristan Vukcevic and Jamir Watkins are out. Orlando has not filed after Sunday’s loss to Boston.
Kings at Mavericks: Dallas lists Kyrie Irving as questionable for management of his left knee and Santi Aldama as doubtful, with Dereck Lively II out and Caleb Martin available. Sacramento has Zach LaVine (right elbow) and Dylan Cardwell (left calf) questionable, and Keegan Murray, Maxime Raynaud and Ben Simmons out.
Jazz at Spurs: Utah is without Jaren Jackson Jr. (right MCL tear) and Jusuf Nurkić (right foot). San Antonio has ruled out Tobias Harris (left calf strain) and Jayden Quaintance.
Trail Blazers at Nuggets: Portland is still without Ja Morant (left hamstring strain) and Shaedon Sharpe (right meniscus surgery). Denver lists Alpha Diallo as questionable with a right wrist sprain and has ruled out Spencer Jones and Julian Strawther.
Heat at Lakers: Tim Hardaway Jr. is questionable for Miami for personal reasons. The Lakers have not filed. Ziaire Williams was downgraded to out on Sunday for management of his left foot and heel and missed his fourth straight game.
The eight missing teams should file on Monday morning ET, and the Clippers’ update on Jones and Toronto’s call on Poeltl are the ones to watch. Embiid’s status will likely come at the 76ers’ morning shootaround. Sunday’s report has the background on Johnson and Landale, and the injuries page tracks every team’s latest list.
