Jalen Johnson left Atlanta's loss in New Orleans with a left ankle injury and did not return, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are resting against the Clippers, and Toronto and Orlando are still without Kawhi Leonard and Paolo Banchero.

Atlanta came out of Saturday night with two new injuries. Jalen Johnson left the Hawks’ 121-99 loss in New Orleans in the second half with a left ankle injury and did not return, and Jock Landale lasted one minute before leaving with a left hip injury. The Hawks have not given an update on either player yet. They are off on Sunday and play in Indiana on Monday.

Sunday has only four games, and every team filed its list on Saturday. The biggest absences are Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, who are resting for Golden State against the Clippers, and Kawhi Leonard, who is out again for Toronto at the Lakers. The statuses below are from the league’s report at 1:15 a.m. ET on Sunday and had not changed since Saturday evening.

U.S. clocks went back an hour early on Sunday, so Cairo is now seven hours ahead of New York. Celtics at Magic tips at 3:30 p.m. ET (10:30 p.m. Sunday in Cairo). Nets at Pacers is at 5 p.m. ET (midnight in Cairo), Clippers at Warriors at 8:30 p.m. ET (3:30 a.m. Monday) and Raptors at Lakers at 9 p.m. ET (4 a.m. Monday).

Hawks: Johnson and Landale hurt in New Orleans

Johnson had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes before he went out. The Hawks first listed him as questionable to return with the left ankle injury, then he did not come back. He is Atlanta’s leading playmaker, so his status for Monday’s game at Indiana is the main thing to watch when the Hawks file on Sunday afternoon.

Landale, who was listed as available before the game with his nasal fracture, played one minute before the team ruled him out for the rest of the night with the hip injury. Atlanta was already without Mouhamed Gueye (left foot fracture) and Henri Veesaar (right ACL tear). On the other side, New Orleans won again without Dejounte Murray and Jordan Poole, who were both out.

Clippers at Warriors, 8:30 p.m. ET: Curry and Green rest

Golden State listed Curry (right knee injury management) and Green (bilateral low back injury management) as out for the first game of a back-to-back. Anthony Slater reported that both are resting and should be cleared to play the Suns on Monday night, and that Al Horford will play against the Clippers and rest on Monday instead. Jimmy Butler III, Moses Moody and Kristaps Porziņģis (not with team) are also out, and Gui Santos is probable with left knee tendinitis. Our Warriors report has more.

The Clippers ruled out Bradley Beal with right knee injury management. Brandon Ingram (right heel surgery), Jordan Miller (left rotator cuff surgery), Yanic Konan Niederhäuser (right Lisfranc surgery) and Max Strus (partial tear of the right plantar fascia) are also out.

Raptors at Lakers, 9 p.m. ET: Leonard out, Ziaire Williams questionable

Toronto ruled out Leonard (left knee injury management) and Nate Bittle (right avulsion fracture), as covered in our Raptors report. For the Lakers, Ziaire Williams is questionable with left foot and heel injury management after missing the last two games, Walker Kessler is available with a splint on his left finger, and Adou Thiero (left knee injury management) is out. The Lakers also took Cameron Carr (oblique) off the report, which clears him to make his NBA debut, as Law Murray noted.

Celtics at Magic, 3:30 p.m. ET: Banchero and Suggs still out

Orlando is still without Paolo Banchero (low-grade right high ankle sprain) and Jalen Suggs (right knee contusion and bone bruise). Noah Penda, Jonathan Isaac and Izaiyah Nelson are also out. Boston lists Mitchell Robinson as questionable for rest, with a game in Houston on Monday, and Devin Carter is out with an illness. Our Celtics-Magic report has more on both teams.

Nets at Pacers, 5 p.m. ET: Toppin questionable

Indiana upgraded Obi Toppin (low back soreness) to questionable and lists Aaron Nesmith (left hamstring strain) as probable. Tyrese Haliburton, T.J. McConnell, Ivica Zubac, Ben Sheppard and Johnny Furphy are out. Brooklyn ruled out rookie Mikel Brown Jr. (back injury management) and Egor Demin (right bone bruise). Full details are in our Pacers-Nets report.

Saturday night: who played and who sat

Alperen Sengun returned from two games out with low back soreness and had 16 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists in 33 minutes as Houston beat Oklahoma City 119-98. Amen Thompson went to the locker room early in the game after being hit near the eye, came back and played 28 minutes. Fred VanVleet and Reed Sheppard were out again for the Rockets.

Jaylen Brown played 38 minutes and scored 16 in Philadelphia’s 109-104 win in Charlotte without Joel Embiid and LeBron James. Lauri Markkanen came back from his sprained right wrist and scored 13 in 29 minutes, but Utah lost 112-90 to Portland. Cleveland’s Meleek Thomas returned from his foot injury with 13 points in 23 minutes in the win in Milwaukee, while Jaylon Tyson sat with a right ankle sprain.

Minnesota played without Rudy Gobert (low back spasms) as well as Anthony Edwards in the 121-111 loss in San Antonio. In Memphis, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. both sat with back problems, and Cam Spencer started at point guard with 10 points and 13 assists as the Grizzlies moved to 6-0. Saturday’s report has the full pregame lists.

What comes next

Monday has a full slate of 15 games, and none of those teams had filed by early Sunday. The Hawks’ update on Johnson and Landale should come before then, and the Warriors expect Curry and Green back against Phoenix. Further ahead: Maxime Raynaud, Dylan Cardwell and Keegan Murray are due for re-evaluations in early November, Suggs around Nov. 9 and Haliburton around Nov. 11. The injuries page tracks every team’s latest list.
