The NBA comes back from its Election Day night off with 14 games on Wednesday, November 4, and 28 of the 30 teams play; only Golden State and Orlando are idle. Two of the East’s best teams meet in the first game, as 7-1 Philadelphia visits 6-1 Detroit at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, and the late national game puts Cooper Flagg and Dallas in San Antonio against Victor Wembanyama and the 5-2 Spurs at 9:30 p.m. ET, also on ESPN. The league has no unbeaten team left after Memphis lost 135-134 to New Orleans on Monday, and Philadelphia and Houston share the best record at 7-1.

Every team played on Monday and had Tuesday off, so nobody is on the second night of a back-to-back, but Phoenix and Miami start one: the Suns host Orlando and the Heat visit Golden State on Thursday. Cairo is seven hours ahead of New York, so the first two games tip at 2 a.m. Thursday in Cairo and Heat at Clippers, the last, at 5:30 a.m. The other 12 games are on the teams’ local channels and NBA League Pass in the United States. Records below are through Monday’s games. Every team’s Wednesday injury list was still marked not yet submitted in the league’s report at 2 a.m. ET Tuesday and is due at 5 p.m. ET Tuesday, midnight in Cairo, so statuses below come from each team’s Monday lists, which our Tuesday injury report and the Monday injury report cover, and our injuries page tracks every change. Since then, the Thunder have signed Dalen Terry for their open 15th spot, Dallas does not know how long Max Christie will be out with a hip injury, and Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel could return in Brooklyn, all in our injury news before Wednesday.
