Dec. 7-13 brings the NBA Cup semifinals on Dec. 8-9 and the final at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Dec. 11, then a weekend with Cleveland's Matthew Dellavedova bobblehead, Portland's Pride Celebration, a Grizzlies knit hat, a Wizards beanie and Sacramento's Peanuts Night. Every themed night, with Cairo tip times.

Oct. 25, 2026 — The second week of December is the NBA Cup’s finishing stretch. The semifinals are on Tuesday, Dec. 8 and Wednesday, Dec. 9 in the home arenas of the higher seeds, and the title game is on Friday, Dec. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Then the regular season comes back with a full weekend: Cleveland hands out a Matthew Dellavedova bobblehead against Golden State, Portland holds its Pride Celebration, Memphis gives away a knit hat, and Sacramento brings back Peanuts Night on Sunday. Here is every themed night and giveaway from Dec. 7 to Dec. 13, with local and Cairo tip times.
The week before, with the Cup quarterfinals and the Hornets’ Throwback Night, is in our Nov. 30-Dec. 6 guide.
The four quarterfinal winners from Dec. 4 and 5 move on to the semifinals, one in each conference. The league lists them for Dec. 8 and/or Dec. 9, and each is played at the home arena of the higher-seeded team. That is new this season: for the first three Cups the semifinals were played in Las Vegas. Matchups, nights and tip times will only be set once the quarterfinals are over. Like the quarterfinals, the semifinals count as regular-season games.
The championship is on Friday, Dec. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler University’s 1928 arena, which holds about 9,100 fans. It is the only Cup game this season at a neutral site, it streams on Prime Video, and it does not count in the standings or in players’ season stats. Tickets for the final went on sale through the league’s official event site, NBAEvents.com, on Oct. 1, and the official VIP hospitality packages are sold separately through NBA Experiences. Our Cup championship tickets guide explains the options, and the full calendar is in our 2026-27 key dates.
The league schedule lists no other games from Monday, Dec. 7 to Friday, Dec. 11 yet. The teams that miss the knockout rounds still have extra regular-season games to play to reach 82, and the league adds those dates after group play ends on Nov. 27.
Tip times come from the league schedule. Egypt and the U.S. are both on standard time in December, so Cairo is seven hours ahead of the East Coast, eight ahead of Central time, nine ahead of Arizona and Mountain time and 10 ahead of the West Coast. Most weekend games tip between midnight and 5 a.m. Cairo time the next day.

A “ticket package” means the item or experience only comes with a special ticket bought for that game, not with a regular seat. Everything else is handed out at the doors or built into the game presentation.
Cleveland closes its three-night celebration of the 2016 championship when Golden State, the team the Cavaliers beat in those Finals after trailing 3-1, visits Rocket Arena at 8 p.m. ET, 3 a.m. Sunday in Cairo. The night’s giveaway is a Matthew Dellavedova bobblehead, honoring the backup guard from the title team. The earlier anniversary nights are Nov. 7 against the Knicks and Nov. 14 against Dallas, and the full calendar is in our Cavaliers promo schedule.
Washington hosts Charlotte at 7 p.m. ET, 2 a.m. Sunday in Cairo, and the first 10,000 fans get a beanie designed by Tre Johnson III. The same game has two ticket packages: James Madison University night in the Wizards’ College Series, with a co-branded JMU football jersey, and Jewish Heritage Night, with a special edition soccer jersey. Both items are listed while supplies last (Wizards promotions).
The day starts early in Memphis, where the Grizzlies host Milwaukee at 4 p.m. CT, midnight in Cairo. It is a Big Memphis Night, and the first 3,000 fans get a Grizzlies knit hat (Grizzlies giveaways).
Out West, Phoenix holds Sneaker Night against Minnesota at 7 p.m. Arizona time. It is a style night for fans to show off their shoes, with no giveaway listed (Suns theme nights). In Portland, the Trail Blazers’ Pride Celebration presented by Jamba is against Atlanta at 7 p.m. PT, 5 a.m. Sunday in Cairo. The team’s community partner for the night is New Avenues for Youth, a Portland nonprofit that works to prevent youth homelessness (Blazers theme nights).
Philadelphia, Miami and Utah also play at home on Saturday, against Orlando, the Knicks and Denver, but we found no theme night or giveaway listed for those games.
Sacramento brings back Peanuts Night presented by Sutter Health for its game against New Orleans at 6 p.m. PT, 4 a.m. Monday in Cairo. The Kings list a pregame screening with free popcorn and holiday decorations, and the first 10,000 fans get a Kings and Peanuts hat. A VIP Snoopy meet-and-greet package and Peanuts-themed Kings apparel are also on sale.
San Antonio hosts the Clippers on Elf Ugly Sweater Night presented by Frost at 6 p.m. CT, 2 a.m. Monday in Cairo. The Spurs also sell a Run Club Towel ticket package for the game (Spurs promo schedule).
In Indianapolis, two days after the Cup final at Hinkle, the Pacers host Detroit at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 5 p.m. ET on their second Lucas Oil Family Night of the season. The family package bundles a ticket with a meal voucher and a hat (Pacers family nights). In Chicago, the Bulls host Houston at 5 p.m. CT, 1 a.m. Monday in Cairo. Before tip, the Bulls Kid Nation Gameday Clinic for ages 7 to 14 runs at the team’s Advocate Center practice facility from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Registration costs $135 and includes two tickets to the game.
The earliest games for Cairo viewers are on Sunday: Boston at Brooklyn at 3 p.m. ET, 10 p.m. in Cairo, and Toronto at Oklahoma City at 2:30 p.m. CT, 10:30 p.m. in Cairo. We found no promotion listed by either home team.
First-come giveaways such as the Wizards’ beanie, the Grizzlies’ knit hat and the Kings’ Peanuts hat usually run out before tip, so get there when the doors open, normally 60 to 90 minutes early. Semifinal hosts often add promotions at short notice, and the extra December games for teams outside the knockout rounds are still to be scheduled, so check the team or arena game page on the day.
