The Trail Blazers celebrate the 50th anniversary of their 1977 title on March 13, the Timberwolves hand out a KG MVP figurine, the Pelicans a Snoopy bobblehead and the Nets hold 2000s Night. Every themed night of March 11-17 with local and Cairo tip times, before and after the U.S. clock change.

Nov. 2, 2026 — Portland marks 50 years since its only NBA title in the week from Thursday, March 11, to Wednesday, March 17, 2027. The Trail Blazers hold their 1977 50th Anniversary Celebration against the Clippers on Saturday, March 13, and the same week brings a Kevin Garnett MVP figurine in Minnesota, a Snoopy bobblehead in New Orleans, the Nets’ 2000s Night, Derrick White and Payton Pritchard bobbleheads in Boston and a Kurt Rambis bobblehead for the Lakers on St. Patrick’s Day. Below is every themed night with local and Cairo tip times and a Game Center link.

Portland celebrates the 1977 champions, Saturday, March 13
The Trail Blazers hold their 1977 50th Anniversary Celebration at Clippers at Trail Blazers, at 7:30 p.m. PT, 5:30 a.m. Sunday in Cairo. The 1977 team, coached by Jack Ramsay and led by Finals MVP Bill Walton and Maurice Lucas, lost the first two games of the Finals to Philadelphia and then won four in a row. The title was clinched 109-107 in Game 6 on June 5, 1977, at Memorial Coliseum, the building next to the team’s current arena in the photo above. A KG MVP figurine in Minnesota, Sunday, March 14
Two weeks after Kevin Garnett’s No. 21 goes to the rafters, the Timberwolves hold a KG Theme Night celebrating his 2003-04 MVP season, and the first 16,000 fans get a KG MVP figurine at Wizards at Timberwolves. The game starts at 7 p.m. CT, 2 a.m. Monday in Cairo. The jersey retirement night is in our guide to Feb. 25-March 3.
Snoopy in New Orleans and the 2000s Nets in Brooklyn
The Pelicans hold Peanuts Night against Toronto on Friday, March 12, and the first 6,000 fans get a Snoopy bobblehead at Raptors at Pelicans, at 7 p.m. CT, 3 a.m. Saturday in Cairo. More in our Pelicans promo calendar.
On Monday, March 15, the Nets hold 2000s Night against Indiana, honoring the teams that reached the Finals in 2002 and 2003, with alumni appearances, era-themed entertainment and an Eastern Conference Finals mystery box of bobbleheads of the 2000s Nets. Pacers at Nets tips at 7:30 p.m. ET, 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in Cairo. The Nets announced the date with the post below.
Bobbleheads in Boston and Los Angeles
The Celtics have two of their four player bobbleheads this week, each for the first 7,500 fans. Derrick White’s comes on Special Olympics Night against Memphis on Thursday, March 11, and Payton Pritchard’s on Move4Heather Night against Sacramento on Tuesday, March 16. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. ET, 2:30 a.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in Cairo. More in our Celtics specialty nights guide.
On Wednesday, March 17, the Lakers hand out a Kurt Rambis bobblehead at their League of Stars Night against Phoenix. 313 Day, Space City and Latino heritage nights
The Pistons celebrate Detroit’s 313 area code on 313 Day, Saturday, March 13, with a chain giveaway against Brooklyn at 3 p.m. ET, 10 p.m. in Cairo. They also hold Basketball for All Night against Milwaukee on March 11. The Rockets wear their black Statement Edition uniforms on the Dunkstronaut court for Space City Saturday against Indiana on March 13 and hold Noche Latina against San Antonio on Tuesday, March 16. Charlotte holds Los Hornets Night against Phoenix on March 13, the Nuggets hold Somos Los Nuggets Night against Miami on Sunday, March 14, the Pacers hold Noche Ene Be A against Detroit on March 16, and the Spurs open the week with a Fiesta Night against Philadelphia on March 11. The Hawks hold Ladies Night for Women’s History Month against Brooklyn on March 11 and a Kids Game against Orlando on Saturday, March 13, with a drawstring bag for the first 2,000 kids and an early 3 p.m. ET tip, 10 p.m. in Cairo. The Bulls hold Bulls Charities Night against Phoenix on March 11, their St. Patrick’s Day game against Memphis on March 13 and City Edition Night against Orlando on March 15. The Kings throw a birthday party for their mascot Slamson against Cleveland on Sunday, March 14, at 3 p.m. PT, midnight in Cairo. Tip times come from the league schedule. Until Saturday, March 13, Cairo is seven hours ahead of the East Coast, eight ahead of Central time, nine ahead of Mountain time and Arizona and 10 ahead of the West Coast. From Sunday, March 14, it is six hours ahead of the East Coast, seven ahead of Central, eight ahead of Mountain and nine ahead of Arizona and the West Coast, since Arizona does not change its clocks.

The clock change makes Sunday, March 14, the best day of the week to watch live from Egypt. Celtics at Knicks starts at noon ET, 6 p.m. in Cairo, Spurs at Thunder follows at 1:30 p.m. CT, 8:30 p.m. in Cairo, and Pistons at Raptors starts at 5 p.m. ET, 11 p.m. in Cairo. A day earlier, the Hawks’ Kids Game and the Pistons’ 313 Day both tip at 10 p.m. Cairo time.
