Every themed night with local and Cairo tip times.

Oct. 29, 2026 — The NBA week from Tuesday, Jan. 19, to Monday, Jan. 25, 2027, has one giveaway that stands above the rest. On Sunday, Jan. 24, the Lakers hand out a replica of their 2020 championship ring, the title won in the Orlando bubble that no Lakers crowd ever got to celebrate in person, and the visitors that afternoon are the Washington Wizards and Anthony Davis. The same seven days bring an Anthony Edwards figurine in Minneapolis, an Ausar Thompson bobblehead in Detroit, a Josh Giddey bobblehead in Chicago, Star Wars Night in Charlotte, a Carnival party in New Orleans, three heritage nights at Chase Center and two kids’ games on the Sunday afternoon. Below is every themed night with local and Cairo tip times and a Game Center link.

The previous week is in our MLK week guide for Jan. 11-18, and the full season calendar is in the 2026-27 key dates.

The 2020 ring comes home, Sunday, Jan. 24

The Lakers beat Miami in six games to win the 2020 title on Oct. 11, 2020, inside the league’s bubble near Orlando, where no fans were allowed. When the players received their rings two months later, before the 2020-21 opener, the arena in Los Angeles was still empty. The replica ring on Jan. 24 gives fans in the building a piece of that title.

The opponent adds to it. Davis, who led the 2020 team with LeBron James, now plays for the Wizards, alongside Trae Young and the rookie AJ Dybantsa, so the ring game doubles as one of his visits to his old arena. James is in Philadelphia this season. Wizards at Lakers tips at 1 p.m. PT, 11 p.m. Sunday in Cairo. The Lakers have not said how many fans get a ring, so arriving early is the safe plan. The rest of the Lakers’ season is in our Lakers promo nights guide.

The bobbleheads and figurines

On Wednesday, Jan. 20, the Timberwolves give the first 10,000 fans at Target Center an Anthony Edwards figurine against Houston. Edwards was scheduled to have a cleanup procedure on his right knee on Thursday, Oct. 29, and the team expects a clearer timetable for his return after it, as we reported in our Edwards knee story. The figurine night is part of a giveaway calendar built around four Kevin Garnett figurines, listed in our Timberwolves giveaways guide.

On Friday, Jan. 22, the Pistons hold In It for My City Night against Indiana and hand out an Ausar Thompson bobblehead, presented by Ticketmaster. Thompson is the third of four Pistons bobbleheads this season, after Duncan Robinson in December and before Jalen Duren and Cade Cunningham. Detroit returns home on Sunday, Jan. 24, for a City Edition Night against Minnesota. The full list is in our Pistons promo schedule.

On Monday, Jan. 25, the Bulls wear their pinstriped Statement Edition uniforms against Dallas and give out a Josh Giddey bobblehead, presented by Rush. It is the fourth of seven figures in the series, and the team says it strikes the pose from Giddey’s half-court buzzer-beater against the Lakers. The series runs through Caleb Wilson on March 22, as listed in our Bulls bobblehead series guide.

Theme nights from Charlotte to San Francisco

Friday, Jan. 22, is the busiest night of the week. The Pelicans hold their annual Carnival party at the Smoothie King Center against Dallas, two and a half weeks before Mardi Gras, and the first 6,000 fans get a light-up Pelicans plush hat from Smoothie King. The Spurs open their run of five Fiesta Nights against Minnesota at 8:30 p.m. CT, the Hornets host a pregame singles mixer called Fast Break to Love against Houston, and the Suns give a belt bag to the first 5,000 fans aged 21 and over against Utah. Those nights are in our Pelicans calendar, Spurs promo schedule, Hornets theme nights guide and Suns guide.

The Warriors hold three heritage nights in four days at Chase Center: Armenian Heritage Night against the Lakers on Thursday, Jan. 21, Japanese Heritage Night against Milwaukee on Friday, Jan. 22, and Jewish Heritage Night against Oklahoma City on Sunday, Jan. 24. Each comes with a special ticket package, and fans who buy through the event link get a themed item. The rest of the Warriors’ giveaways are in our Warriors promo schedule.

On Saturday, Jan. 23, the Celtics hold a Pride celebration against Charlotte at TD Garden, three nights after a Best Buddies International night against Indiana. The Mavericks wear their City Edition uniforms against Cleveland, and the Nuggets hold STEM Night against Milwaukee. Those nights are also in our Celtics specialty nights guide, Mavericks theme nights guide and Nuggets theme nights guide.

On Monday, Jan. 25, the Hornets hold Star Wars Night against Orlando, marking 50 years since the first film was released in 1977, and the Grizzlies hold Health Night against Minnesota. The Grizzlies’ season is in our Grizzlies giveaways guide.

A Sunday for families

Two afternoon games on Sunday, Jan. 24, are aimed at younger fans, and both suit viewers in Egypt, who can watch them in the evening. The Spurs’ Hello Kitty Kids Game against Portland, presented by H-E-B, tips at 2:30 p.m. CT, 10:30 p.m. in Cairo. The Suns hold Kids Day against Utah at 2 p.m. MST, 11 p.m. in Cairo, at the same time as the Lakers’ ring game.

Every themed night, Jan. 19 to 25

Tip times come from the league schedule. In January, Cairo is seven hours ahead of the East Coast, eight ahead of Central time, nine ahead of Mountain time and 10 ahead of the West Coast. No team has announced a themed night for Tuesday, Jan. 19.

How the giveaways work

An item with a number beside it, like the Edwards figurine or the Pelicans’ plush hat, is handed out at the doors until the supply runs out, so fans who want one should arrive when the gates open. The Warriors’ heritage items go only to fans who buy the special ticket package, not to everyone in the building. The Lakers, Pistons and Bulls have not listed a number for the ring and the two bobbleheads, and teams can still add or change items during the season, so check the team’s site before the game.

What comes next

The week’s first giveaway is Rockets at Timberwolves on Wednesday, Jan. 20, and the ring game is Wizards at Lakers on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 p.m. in Cairo. We will cover the week of Jan. 26 to Feb. 1 next.
