Oct. 31, 2026 — The week from Tuesday, Feb. 9, to Monday, Feb. 15, 2027, is the last full week before All-Star weekend in Phoenix, and its biggest night is in Charlotte. On Thursday, Feb. 11, the Hornets retire Muggsy Bogues’ No. 1 jersey at halftime against the Milwaukee Bucks. The same week brings three bobblehead nights, Dennis Rodman in Chicago, James Harden in Cleveland and Jayson Tatum in Boston, a Stephen Curry Star Wars night in San Francisco on Presidents’ Day, two HBCU nights on Feb. 12, Lunar New Year games in Boston, Houston and Dallas, and Sunday kids’ days on Valentine’s Day. Below is every themed night with local and Cairo tip times and a Game Center link.

The previous week is in our guide to Feb. 2-8, and the full season calendar, including the Feb. 11 trade deadline, is in the 2026-27 key dates.

Muggsy Bogues jersey night in Charlotte, Thursday, Feb. 11

Bogues, at 5-foot-3 the shortest player in NBA history, was an original Hornet and played 10 seasons in Charlotte, from 1988-89 to 1997-98. He retired as the team’s all-time leader in assists, steals and minutes, and he will be the third Hornets player with a retired number, after Bobby Phills and Dell Curry. The team announced the ceremony on Oct. 27 with a video of Bogues reading his own invitation to his family. Our full story on the jersey retirement has his reaction and his numbers.

Bucks at Hornets tips at 7 p.m. ET, 2 a.m. Friday in Cairo. It falls on trade deadline day, so the rosters on the floor that night may already look different. Two days later, on Saturday, Feb. 13, the Hornets host Dallas at 3 p.m. ET with a Divine Nine ticket package that includes a D9-inspired bucket hat. More in our Hornets theme nights guide.

Rodman, Harden and Tatum bobbleheads

The week opens on Tuesday, Feb. 9, with two bobblehead nights. In Chicago, the Bulls give out a Dennis Rodman Statement Edition bobblehead, showing him on a giant motorcycle, against the Golden State Warriors, a matchup that brings back the 72-win 1995-96 Bulls and the 73-win Warriors who broke that record. It is also the Bulls’ Hoops and Hearts night. Warriors at Bulls tips at 7 p.m. CT, 3 a.m. Wednesday in Cairo. The team’s own post on the series is below, and the rest of the dates are in our Bulls Statement Edition bobblehead guide.

The same night in Cleveland, the Cavaliers hand out a James Harden bobblehead against Toronto at 7 p.m. ET, 2 a.m. Wednesday in Cairo. On Friday, Feb. 12, the Celtics give a Jayson Tatum bobblehead to the first 7,500 fans at TD Garden against Minnesota, the one most collectors in the Celtics’ series will want. Full lists are in our Cavaliers promo schedule and Celtics specialty nights guide.

On Thursday, Feb. 11, the Rockets hold Lunar New Year against Sacramento and the Mavericks hold theirs against Portland, a special-ticket night. The same evening in Denver, the Nuggets sell a Serbian Heritage ticket package, with its own promotional item, for the game against Chicago. How the giveaways work

An item with a number beside it, like the Tatum bobblehead or the Curry blind box, is handed out at the doors until the supply runs out, so fans who want one should arrive when the gates open. The Bulls and Cavaliers have not said how many Rodman and Harden bobbleheads they will hand out, and ticket-package items, like the Hornets’ bucket hat and the Nuggets’ Serbian Heritage item, come only with that specific ticket. Teams can still add or change items during the season, so check the team’s site before the game.

What comes next

The week’s first themed games are Raptors at Cavaliers and Warriors at Bulls on Tuesday, Feb. 9, and the Bogues ceremony is Bucks at Hornets on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 2 a.m. Friday in Cairo. We will cover All-Star week in Phoenix next.
