The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The team was founded in 1968 as an expansion team, and play home games at Fiserv Forum. Former U.S. senatorHerb Kohl was the long-time owner of the team, but on April 16, 2014, a group led by billionaire hedge fund managers Wes Edens and Marc Lasry agreed to purchase a majority interest in the team from Kohl, a sale which was approved by the owners of the NBA and its Board of Governors one month later on May 16. The team is managed by Jon Horst, the team's former director of basketball operations, who took over for John Hammond.
The Bucks have won two league championships (1971, 2021), three conference titles (Western: 1971, 1974, Eastern: 2021), 19 division titles (1971–1974, 1976, 1980–1986, 2001, 2019–2024), and the 2024 NBA Cup. They have featured such notable players as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Bob Dandridge, Sidney Moncrief, Bob Lanier, Terry Cummings, Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Damian Lillard among others. Abdul-Jabbar and Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Most Valuable Player while playing for the Bucks, for a total of five MVP awards. They both are also the only players to win Finals MVP for the franchise. The Bucks are the only NBA team to have won a championship in both the Eastern and Western Conference.

Verified champion records through 2025-26. Earlier team names and source records appear in the archive.
Milwaukee’s championship history connects two very different NBA eras. The Bucks won their first title in 1971 and returned to the top in 2021. Those milestones offer a starting point for exploring the franchise’s evolution, the city’s fan culture, and the changing demands placed on elite frontcourt players.
Visitor and coaching guide updated October 3, 2026.
Taylor Jenkins is Milwaukee’s head coach. His finalized 2026–27 staff includes returning assistant Darvin Ham.
Fiserv Forum is at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Avenue. Match your travel plans to the Bucks schedule; check whether the game is home or away before reserving parking.
The 5th Street Parking Structure is at 1215 North 5th Street and is accessed from McKinley Avenue. Its third level connects to the arena by an enclosed skybridge. Parking rates and availability depend on the event. Free bicycle parking is available at street level near the structure’s vehicle entrance and outside the Bucks Pro Shop. Walk your bicycle through Deer District rather than riding across the plaza.
The arena’s bag-policy section permits bags smaller than 10 × 6 × 2 inches, or clear bags smaller than 14 × 14 × 6 inches, through screening at any entrance. Larger non-clear bags up to 14 × 14 × 6 inches need designated X-ray screening. Medical and infant-care bags also need additional screening. Backpacks, large duffles and luggage are prohibited. Check your game’s arrival instructions for extra restrictions.
Open your game ticket in the Bucks app, or in Ticketmaster if purchased directly there. A screenshot is not valid for entry. This is worth checking before joining the security line, particularly if another person bought or transferred the tickets.
Use Tyler Herro’s player profile alongside the roster and historical results above. Player statistics from earlier seasons may include another team; they should not be read as Milwaukee-only production. For official buying destinations, use the ticket directory.
