Philadelphia’s NBA history includes Wilt Chamberlain, Julius Erving, and Allen Iverson, among many other influential players. The 76ers’ connection to the city combines longstanding rivalries with a demanding basketball culture. The franchise’s earlier Syracuse history is another important part of its official timeline.
Start with the official team schedule and roster to understand the current group. Then compare the team’s pace, shot selection, and defensive approach with its opponents. The meaning of a result changes with the matchup, the available lineup, and the season context.
Use the official team website for current news, roster details, schedules, and venue information. Arena naming and event arrangements can change; verify those details before planning a visit. Use the official team ticket links to plan your visit.
The 76ers’ home is Xfinity Mobile Arena, 3601 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148. It sits in the South Philadelphia sports complex. Use the full address when planning the trip, then identify whether your arrival is on the Broad Street or 11th Street side of the building.
The venue’s travel directions send riders south on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line to its final stop, NRG Station at Pattison Avenue. From 30th Street Station, the published route uses the Market-Frankford Line east to 15th Street, followed by the southbound Broad Street connection. Check current service and the return connection rather than assuming an event guarantees extended trains.
For a Lyft pickup after the game, the arena identifies a dedicated area in Lot D at the building’s southeast corner. Agree on that location before leaving your seat so your group does not split between opposite entrances.
At Sixers games, clutches, wristlets and small purses no larger than 4.5 × 6.5 inches are permitted subject to inspection. Larger permitted bags must be smaller than 14 × 14 × 6 inches and pass through X-ray screening at the Broad Street, 11th Street or Premium Access bag-entry locations. Backpacks, suitcases and large multi-compartment bags remain restricted. Medical-equipment and parental bags below the larger size limit also require X-ray screening. Choose the correct bag lane on arrival rather than joining an unmarked queue.
Open your digital tickets before arrival; the 76ers ticket FAQ links tutorials for viewing and transferring them.
The arena is cashless, including parking, concessions and retail. Cash-to-card machines are listed outside Sections 122 and 214 and inside the box office. Review the arena’s guest-services guide before packing. Re-entry after a ticket is scanned is prohibited, with exceptions handled by staff, so settle outside errands before entering.
Both the Broad Street and 11th Street entrances are accessible. Public elevators serve every level from the Broad Street VIP lobby and the 11th Street side near Sections 109 and 110. The accessibility guide explains seating and support services. Contact the 76ers about a seating need in advance: a same-day exchange to an accessible location is subject to availability, not guaranteed. The guide lists assistive-listening equipment at guest-services desks, with photo ID required as a deposit.
